Description

This compilation of songs is an initiative that is part of safeguarding Haitian musical heritage.

The Creole used in the texts of the songs is that of Cap-Haitien, which still uses certain words from the French language.

On the other hand, musical notations (e.g., moderato, chorus, intro, reprise, bridge, ad libitum, etc.) are not written in Creole.

For technical reasons, inside the partitions,

the contraction with the apostrophe was retained in the texts of the songs.

Karine Margron

Design, research, compilation, musical writing, and layout.

Julio Racine

Arrangements, musical writing, general supervision.

Fabien Dodard

Design and creation of the cover.
