Lespwa (Haitian Creole for “Hope”) was commissioned by the Wisconsin Cello Society and the Lawrence University Cello Ensemble.
The work premiered on September 30th, 2012 at the Wisconsin Cello Society ‘Fall Cello Day’ which is devoted to Haiti. The Cello Day will be a fundraiser to support music programs for children in Haiti.
